MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) will announce soon the alphabetical list of passers in the March 2023 Teachers board exam or licensure exam for teachers (LET) - Secondary level or or before May 19 or in forty (40) working days after the exam.
The full list of passers or those who have successfully passed the tests will be posted on this page. Below list will be updated once LET results are announced online.

In accordance with the law, passing the licensure exam and having valid professional license from the Commission are necessary before the practice of teaching profession in the Philippines. Otherwise, those who will violate may face fine and imprisonment based on penal provisions.

To pass the LET, an examinee must obtain an average rating of not less than 75% and must have no rating lower than 50% in any of the tests.
REGISTRATION AND OATHTAKING
The schedule for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration for Elementary and Secondary level exams will be posted here once results are out online.
The requirements for the issuance of Certificate of Registration and Professional Identification Card (ID) are the following:
- Notice of Admission (for identification only)
- downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- two pieces passport size pictures (colored with white background and complete nametag)
- two sets of documentary stamps
- 1 piece short brown envelope.
- PRC said that successful examinees should PERSONALLY register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The dates of the oathtaking ceremonies of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.
COVERAGE OF EXAM
The program for March 2023 LET is composed of (2) parts for Elementary — General Education (40%) and Professional Education (60%) — and three (3) parts for Secondary — General Education (20%), Professional Education (40%) and Specialization (40%).
ADDITIONAL NOTE: PRC imposed limited use of calculator. Only Mathematics (under Specialization subject) would require examinees to use the calculator. The modification is pursuant to Resolution No. 25, series of 2019 issued by the Board for Professional Teachers.
RELEASE OF RESULTS
Referring to the original schedule of LET, per PRC Resolution No. 1589 series of 2022, the target release of March 2023 LET board exam result is 40 working days after the test or can be expected on May 19, 2023.
Several factors such as the total number of examinees, effect of work cancellations due to calamities and unforeseen events and system of checking the pencil-based tests may cause deviation on target release date.
With this, we advise LET takers to monitor release of results between May 5 and 19 or in 30-40 working days after the exam. From time-to-time, PRC Board News will update this page to give the exact release date. - PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS
In the October 2022 massive Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET), PRC was able to release results after fifty-six (56) working days. A total of 49,783 elementary teachers out of 91,468 examinees (54.43%) and 71,080 secondary teachers out of 139,534 examinees (50.94%) successfully passed the exams.
In the June 2022 Licensure Exam for Teachers (fourth and final Batch of LET for the postponed board exams in 2020-2021), the PRC released results in 30 working days. The agency named 8,667 elementary teachers out of 17,149 examinees (50.54%) and 10,193 secondary teachers out of 20,191 examinees (50.48%) who passed the exams.
During the Batch 3 LET, results were released earlier than expected or only twenty-five (25) days after the exams. PRC named 10,039 elementary teachers out of 20,567 examinees (48.81%) and 7,809 secondary teachers out of 18,717 examinees (41.72%) successfully passed the teachers board exam. - During Batch 2 LET (January 2022), PRC announced results in thirty (30) working days. A total of 8,737 elementary teachers out of 15,696 examinees (55.66%) and 12,074 secondary teachers out of 22,454 examinees (53.77%) passed the tests.
During the First Batch of LET (September 2021), PRC released results in forty-seven (47) working days after the exam. A total of 4,883 elementary teachers out of 8,726 examinees (55.96%) and 10,318 secondary teachers out of 17,863 examinees (57.76%) successfully hurdled the exams.
In the March 2019 LET, results were announced in forty-two (42) working days. PRC named 19,659 elementary teachers out of 72,054 examinees (27.28%) and 22,271 secondary teachers out of 85,823 examinees (25.95%) who hurdled the exams.
